Rage has always been about exposing the hottest up-and-coming stars and showcasing all aspects of freeskiing. This season was no different with new and veteran athletes working harder than ever to bring you the most progressive tricks from handrails to backcountry cliffs. We tactfully planned our season to camp out at select locations until everything was hit, new tricks were stomped and everyone was ready to move on.
Freeskiing is as much about the kids skiing 200ft Ski hills, as it is about tackling big mountain lines. That is why in producing this Ski film we made sure to showcase the sport in all its diversity. Whether it’s a 6:00am hike on a two foot pow day in the Wasatch or a midnight rail session in Minnesota, our cinematographers were there capturing the moments.

Find a new crop of treacherous descents reachable only by air. They tag along with fearless cliff jumpers and nimble snowboarders. Warren Miller’s voice is heard in a few vintage snippets, but for the most part it’s Jonny Moseley’s ski-dude narration that sets the tone. This fits well with a goofy segment celebrating Brigham Young University’s makeshift "water weenie" toboggan and is suited to describe Dubai, where a massive indoor ski resort is brought to the screen with mind blowing results.

It takes the Earth 24 hours to rotate around its axis, 7 rotations in a week, and 365 spins to make a ski film. The making of a ski film is not a hobby for us, but a way of life.
Our talented group of athletes train year round, work odd jobs, and dream throughout the off season of what the upcoming season will bring. The filming season begins at the first sighting of snowflakes in November and comes to conclusion with the summer heat waves mid June.
In 2008, Rage Films witnessed an unbelievable year that was unsurpassed by others as Rage won award after award, including Best Core Film at X-Dance and Best Film at IF3. Epic amounts of snow yielded huge jumps, gnarly lines and exploratory trips around the world. Athletes threw tricks they have never done before, break through performances were caught on film, and some just learned how to travel with dependents (even if it was a ferret), but most importantly, the ante was upped for progressive skiing and cinematography. This is a reflection on the dedication, perseverance, loyalty, and excitement the crew works for all year. Such is our lives. Such is life.

Video do promyšlených detailů zobrazuje každodenní dramata a pozoruhodné výkony těchto předních skateboardistů na cestě po vyhlášených skate parcích napříč západním pobřežím USA, Seattle (Washington), Portland (Oregon), San Fransico, Visalie a Los Angeles (Kalifornie). Natáčeny jsou všechny skoky, obraty a nejpovedenější triky, což se také do jisté míry podepsalo na smutné a pomalé smrti Winnebago ročníku 1977. Duchovním otcem WEENABAGO PROJECT je Tosh Townend spolu s Kristianem McCue, kteří karavan zakoupili, renovovali jej a vyrazili loni v létě na cestu, a to se stovkami prken a nejlepšími úmysly vykřičet svou lásku ke skateboardingu do celého světa. GOOD & EVIL DVD
The skating in this video is amazing. No need for a skip button, this is a video you can just play from start to end. Starting up the video, even before the intro, we have Ed Templeton’s part. Ed puts together another solid Templeton part for you guys. After the intro section comes Josh Harmony. Josh skates some big stuff! Check out his massive tailslides. After Harmony’s part comes Austin Stephens. Stephens comes through with a nice part with a weird song, but it works for me. Matt Bennett has the next part. Watch for Matt’s crazy looking trick he throws down rails. I don’t even know what to call it, but its sick. Looks like he has it on lock too. What would a skate video be without a skit of some sort? Toy Machine throws in a cute little animation skit after Bennett’s part. Look for Homicide and Prostitution. Johnny Layton is up next. Johnny be good! He kills it in his part. Check him out for sure! Look for his Nutty frontside blunt at the end of his part. After Layton’s part comes another amazing part with Billy Marks. Surprisingly this part isn’t the last one of the video but, crazy trick after crazy trick, they just keep coming in this part. This is a must see! SWITH BIGSPIN HEELFLIP BOARDSLIDES down the well known Beverly 9!? And last but not least we have Diego Bucchieri’s part. Diego still has it. Big ol gaps and some nice looking frontside 360s. The giant ollie at the end is very ballsy! There are over 25 Bonus features and 6 photo galleries in the video too. It almost makes you feel a little special doesn’t it?
